The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 前半段很寻常的一步一步来叙事甚至在视听语言上没什么亮点，后面则直接爆发，也对应了标题吧
仆人和主人的等级越来越模糊，可以说是一个命运相系的big family，戏里戏外，生老病死，在残酷的世界尽量幸福是真谛。
最大问题是没有拍出这个人物的特殊性和独特魅力，反而拍的更像一个纯虚构的励志故事，这是最大的遗憾。
银幕和舞台的玩法很难兼容，还是放回舞台上吧……

每次“Downtown Abbey”出现在画面里并伴随着那段经典的旋律时我的心情总是激动的。不亚于霍格沃兹出现在画面里时。编剧导演总是把美好的情绪毫不吝啬地放到这部作品里。接近尾声时，我以为会像《生活多美好》（1946）那样大家欢聚一堂圆满地在“真善美”气氛里结束，直到一个人的离去... ...“别哭了，吵得我听不到自己死了。” so long,granny.
加菲还是帅的，镜头和剪辑的处理比故事更好，泳池里的时刻惊艳
但是后面的几个人疯狂的在打哈欠……

有的人30认为自己时间已经不够多，有的30真的时间不够多，后半程后劲真大，差点哭了……想起来瓦妮莎·哈金斯是我18岁之前最喜欢的欧美女星。片子如果不是舞台剧感那么重就给五星了……
三星半。不错的改编，某种程度上的元音乐剧电影。有了乔纳森·拉森的音乐剧，才有了电影，而电影讲述的又是音乐剧的起点，两种艺术借助不同的载体从形式到内容各方面完成呼应，好几幕都不乏动容时刻。
